I purchased a kilt package from Henderson’s - the kilt being made. To. Measure of my own family tartan. This was all done over the telephone & online. I found the Company most helpful, considerate, thoughtful and polite. The product which they made for me was of the highest quality, all choices and options being put before me, all made and delivered within 6 weeks - which is extraordinary - and at a very competitive price. It has been a delight to deal with Henderson’s, and Mr Lewis Henderson in particular. If anyone wants high quality Highland dress made for them then then I recommend that they consider Henderson as a company of the highest rank, and competitive pricing too.

I was on holiday in Scotland from the US and wanted to have a custom kilt made with my family tartan. It's been a bucket list item for me for as long as I can remember. My girlfriend found the House of Henderson when she randomly searched my last name online (FYI - I am not related to the owners... that I know of). Getting my kilt custom made here just made sense and it fit perfectly into the end of our itinerary. I called sometime after they opened up and asked if they would be able to custom fit me. Barry was super accommodating and said anytime that morning would be great. When we showed up, Barry was incredibly helpful with everything. This was a new experience for me and he made me feel super comfortable and was very knowledgeable! He walked me through everything I'd need and didn't push anything on me that I didn't need. In the end, this honestly was an experience I will never forget... and it's all thanks to the House of Henderson staff and owners! I highly recommend them for any of your needs! Thank you so much for everything!!! Next time I'm in Stirling, I'll be stopping by to say hello!
The entire staff was wonderfully helpful - we had kilts made for the entire family and enjoyed the entire experience. They had all the accessories available for our reunion including sashes and brooches for the women. We were extremely pleased and happy.
Jordan and Lewis organised everything beautifully for my wedding in September 2018. My Kilt and the best men were picked out and fitted perfectly. The tricky part came when I had about 20 family members from London who also wanted to wear kilts, most of them for the first time! Not only couldn't they see the kilts in store, they had to measure themeselves and trust the store to get it right! Jordan went through each individual hire and made sure they would all fit on the day! Happy to say they all fit and the lads looked great! I Would highly recommend House of Henderson to anyone thinking about hiring a Kilt - these guys know what they're doing! Thanks guys!
Staff were very knowledgeable and very patient in understanding my wants and needs. We got exactly what we wanted at a very reasonable price. Everyone was very friendly, a 5 star service and highly recommended
Wish I was able to give this an over all 5*. Unfortunately due to a member of staff: Eileen, in particular being so unhelpful it's knocked it down to 4*. There was a mix up with my husband's cravat and she told him one minute she was there herself, then it changed and the boss wanted to close the shop. She wasn't willing to allow him the 40 minute drive from Airdrie to Stirling to correct their mistake. Meaning the MORNING OF OUR WEDDING, he was expected to travel to Stirling to have it corrected. Pretty poor when you expect 5* service. No apology at all, very much your problem, you sort it- not what you need the morning of your wedding, it's stressful enough. On the other hand the Sapphire spirit kilt was absolutely stunning, we received lots of compliments about our wedding party. It was really unusual and exactly what my husband wanted. Andy deserves major recognition, from first fitting to returning the kilts he was outstanding. He definitely has a people passion and that shines through. He was very apologetic around the disservice provided by Eileen. Make sure if you want someone to help you head for Andy and AVOID Eileen, unless you want someone to be unhelpful, dishonest, abrupt and very much lacking people skills.
The young lad that helped me out on Fri afternoon was very helpful went out his way to help me and the lovely lady who helped me on Mon morning was very helpful fantastic service from both members of staff keep up the fab work
I went to House of Henderson hoping to find a good looking kilt outfit, and I was not disappointed. After choosing a tartan for the kilt, I was helped tremendously with choosing every other piece of the outfit to look absolutely amazing, down to the customisation of the buttons on the jacket. They really take their time to make sure you are 100% happy with your choices and their advise was superb. When I was back in Glasgow to pick it up everything fitted perfectly and I couldn't be happier with my new outfit!
