I have no hesitation in strongly recommending Bostock Total Tree Services, and agree with the other excellent reviews posted about this company. I found Ben to be knowledgeable and very professional. His quote was competitively priced and he and his team were very pleasant and conscientious throughout. They removed and ground out the stumps of two lengths of old hedging; felled and stump ground three trees and pruned an old cherry tree for us. They were punctual, efficient and hardworking, despite working in almost continuous rain, and we were especially impressed with the way they tidied up the site afterwards.

Ben and his team did a great job on reshaping an overgrown conifer, reduced the height of a number of very tall conifers and cut down an old Larch tree this week. The guys worked hard, removed all the logs and branches and left the garden immaculate. No hesitation in recommending.

All started off OK when we had a willow tree felled in our garden which was carried out well and efficiently on the 19th March. The stump was to be ground down as well. We could not see the ground down stump afterwards as it was covered over with the stump grindings. We shifted the grindings and used them for mulch over the course of the next few days. Unfortunately, we then discovered that the stump was not ground down low enough. We contacted Ben Bostock and sent him photographs. He agreed to come back and grind it down further. Then \Lockdown\. We were very patient, no choice really with covid-19, and in the interim cleared away soil and debris around the stump to make easier access for his grinder. We kept in touch regularly to see when he would come back. On the 7th August he made contact to say he had been to look at the stump but as we had excavated it, he needed a bigger machine and would have to charge us again. After explaining why we had excavated around the stump we asked how much he would charge to grind it lower, we just wanted to get the thing done as it was holding up work we wanted doing. We also asked if it was now the right time to remove a fir tree he had quoted for. On the 14th September, his complete text reply was \I will send you a number for a stump grinding person as I don't do stumps anymore and you can sort it out with him. The tree I'm not interested in\ We have heard nothing further from him and really do not want to now! Our advice. Check his work carefully before parting with payment. Update: I have now heard from Ben Bostock who has explained why his text was abrupt and have commented favourably on the work he did carry out and have increased my star rating accordingly.

Delighted with Ben & lads work once again. Efficient, diligent & extremely tidy job over 2 days...lots of tall conifers trimmed down and 2 felled totally. Excellent price - highly recommend.
