Can highly recommend visiting The Hub if you are interested in cycling with a friendly group of like minded people. Cycle tracks are used as often as possible. Bikes may be borrowed from Hub or use your own.
Staff are ace & project is really well run. Really good facilities. Staff are happy to help as much as possible. If you use a bike at all should check this place out.
It's an awesome business, been with them since they opened, the new shop looks good and credit to the town centre, staff are always helpful and full of knowledge so you don't have to wait for an answer, they always have an fast amount of leaflets and links so any questions can be answered by them too I know they do cycle groups wich Is awesome too

This has got to be the best place for all Cyclists and budding cyclists to go .It has everything Cycle rides for beginners Cycle rides for intermediates and silver cyclists. The Hub even sells good second hand bikes from 20 to around the 30 mark depending on condition. The Hub also does excellent free Bike maintenance courses lasting for about 3 hours. You can park your bike there if you are visiting Stockton and if they have time they will give your bike a free safety check ,whilst you shop . It is a meeting place for all cycle enthusiasts. This is a genuine Cycling Hub, so if you have a problem with a bike ask the mechanics all info is free. I cannot rate the Hub high enough.
If you're interested in cycling and you don't need to be a pro (lol), The Hub offers you bike rides long and short depending on how you are fitness wise. They also offer helmets and bikes to use. (Just turn up and ride) also Wednesday mornings you can use the bike maintenance course to keep your bike safe for road use and the best bit is it's free to go and use this brilliant service. Also they provide days where you can register your bike with the police and also relavent databases incase of theft.
Leave your bike when visiting the town. Staff friendly and very helpful.
