Nice gardens, well kept and plenty of interest for this time of year. Sausage rolls and hot drinks are available even during lockdown.

Beautiful gardens and a fairly unique whistle stop botanical world tour. There is currently the mandatory Covid one way system to guide you through the gardens with the option of a short or longer route. We initially wandered around the long route (45 - 60 minutes as a very leisurely stroll). We then had lunch at the cafe and then took the short route. You do see some different parts of the gardens in the routes so it’s probably best to do both. All the different areas, China, Egypt, Himalayas and the arboretum are stunning, the massive monkey puzzles and redwoods are awe inspiring. There is also a beautiful tree lined long avenue which makes the most of the surrounding countryside landscape.

We adored our visit to biddulph Grange Gardens yesterday. Its such a magical place with plenty to see. Each area you leave and enter through a passageway, whether its tree lines, caves or through small quirky buildings. Our favourite was definitely the Japanese garden with Stunning buildings overlooking the lake. Look out for the huge carp in the large pond at the front of the house (fish food available to buy as you go in for 1). Also there's a small pond further on which the kids spotted huge dragon flies and pond skippers in! My husbands a photographer and absoljtely adored the place, see a few of his shots in the images below. Social distancing measures were good considering some of the paths are rather narrow we didn't feel anxious about others. But it does mean that quite a lot of areas are not available for you to wander through at your own pace. At the moment (AUG 2020) you need to book tickets online through the national trust website, at least the night before. There's plenty of parking, shop and tearooms are open. Plus a picnic spot by the car park. Absolutely fab day exploring, really wowed our children!

What a great place to visit we all had a great time following the paths through tunnels along beautiful paths. There is a brilliant play area incorporated into the walk, there are some amazing plants and trees. The coffee from the cafe tasted great. The fish in the pond are massive.

Beautiful Property and gardens. Not able to look around the property due to it being private property. Nonetheless, the gardens were fantastic. Great walks and the Japanese area had good views. Cafe was open and served food and hot/cold drinks. Dahlias weren't all out this year due to I believe Covid but what was there was a snapshot of what would normally be available.
