Excellent room, friendliest host, perfect food, great location. What more could you ask? Will definitely stay there if I visit close by again, no doubts.

Great location, great breakfast and great hosts. Our second stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back. Ideal for anyone visiting Alton Towers (a mile down the road), picturesque little village with a selection of pubs and places to eat.

We stayed for one night while visiting Alton Towers theme park, we found our room lovely and comfortable. The B&B owners were lovely too and breakfast was fabulous too. Car parking was plentiful. We would definitely stop here again in the future.

After spending a long day at Alton Towers, were we warmly greeted by the lovely family who run the B&B. Our rooms were beautiful, cosy and quaint - there was even a teddy bear to cuddle at night! Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options (even for vegetarians like me!). The B&B is also situated in a picturesque village with many scenic sights and pubs for you to enjoy. We had the most amazing stay at the Malthouse and I would highly recommend it to everyone! - wish we could have stayed there for longer! \u003c3

First the good: It's just a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers, which is great. Also, there's a lovely pub just over the road - have the lamb pie if you get a chance. Very friendly hosts and the room was spotless, well appointed and comfortable. Now the not quite so good (but not bad): I've had better breakfasts at other B&Bs. It wasn't bad, but it was all just a bit average. Also, the pipes could be heard banging and clanking all night, which did hinder my sleeping. Would I stay there again? On balance, probably not.
