Very nice food. Travelled up from Durham in the North East of England. Popped into this cafe and the staff were very friendly. Safety conscious too, staff wearing face protection while cooking, had a look inside a fridge when they opened to take something out and it was spotless. There was a register that we had to sign for covid track and trace. Food was great, I had a big breakfast (i had already eaten some mushrooms and bacon with toast before I took the pic) which came with a free tea or coffee and toast with butter portions, my partner had cod and chips which was presented well. Massive piece of fish and good portion of chips. If I was passing through again I would definitely pop back in. Thank you Starfish

Always consistently good value,tasty and filling with great staff. We travel 30miles for the gammon grill, delicious.
Staff really friendly and meals are good depending on who is doing the cooking. Would recommend it
Went holiday near here from bham recently, and was only chippy we seen, we had a very big order so had several items despite being quick food was extremely bland, but bigger issue was the owner who was severely down talking to his workers especially our hostess who was lovely to us and was trying her best, but owner was swearing and shouting at her infront of customers for something she didn't do, she still served us with a smile and did what she could on her own, terrible food but even worse owner, Iv never written any kind of review this my first so that tells you how bad it must have been, would not recommend.
Great place with some really tasty food and reasonably priced. The fish and chips is very good but you can also eat pizza or soup or burgers and not be disappointed. We visited it as a family of 5 and had a great experience. Food was good, the staff was brilliant and prices were very reasonable.
