Fished it twice over 4 days, first was a four hour session in calm conditions with four good rainbows. Day two was five for 6 hours with a bit of a breeze. Good hard fighting fish from a proper little loch. I've fish a few fisheries around the Inverness area this week, and this is the only place we're I found the trout to put up a good account of them selfs, not the usal wollowing at the surface that can be found elsewhere. Challenging but extremely rewarding

My boyfriend and I wanted to do some fishing while on our NC500 road trip - the owner booked us in that hour. What an incredible man! Super chatty, knowledgable and professional. Despite not catching any trout, we had such a fun time - would highly recommend. Such a reasonable price too.

I enjoyed fishing here, a good day out,I had a few bites, pretty exciting and finally caught one,I used sweetcorn then switched to powerbait and caught, il definitely go fishing here again but this time with worms, maggots and powerbait, the bait loch looked clean and tidy, and the parking area was handy, thanks very much for a great day Tarvie Lochs il be back :)

Tarvie Bait loch is absolutely poor fishing if your looking to catch a fish over 1 pound in weight, shocking condition of fish especially the blue trout. You can strike the fish hoping your hook is in a lip for safe returning but no matter how safe you are handling the poor wee fish they still die when you return them. The Loch is a mess with line, bubble floats all over and walkways are dangerous. Worst 15 I have ever spent on 4 hours of poor fishing. They even have a brass neck to have someone watching you as you fish probably incase you decide to jump in when you realise how depressing the Loch is. On the plus side ok for a 5 year old to learn to bait up and cast. NEVER Again.
