I went to Yesnaby Cliffs to watch the sun set and wasn't disappointed! Not only did I witness an amazeballs sunset but I was also lucky enough to see some seals sheltering in a cove as the sea was very rough. Couldn't see the sea stack (maybe it's fallen into the sea?) but it's well worth going here just to see raw nature at its best.

Great views. Nice sea stacks and bird life. Can be windy. Bring a warm and waterproof coat, even in summer. Opportunities for a swim on truly warm days or for those with hardy lifestyles. Walks along the cliffs are nice with views as far as the Old Man of Hoy on clear days. Free parking at some old abandoned remains of buildings. No toilets. Some information panels with history about surrounding sites.

Site of interest with the remnants of WW2 Yesnaby lookout station. Good place to find wild flowers including the Scottish Primrose. Superb coastal walking. Good views. Car parking available, but no toilet facilities.

Very high cliffs of layered stone the breaks into blocks, windy, excellent scenery and relatively easy walking. Seabirds all around. On a sunny day the sea is clear. Great place to visit. Watch out for the dog walkers and parties of walkers who roll up and park cars without any thought of how others are going to get out.

Fairly well defined paths to follow so not as difficult as you'd think.
