Rupert helped me with my wedding dress in October (via my parents!) - he recommended that dry cleaning would be a bad idea due to the red fabric that made up the back of the dress. Instead, he pressed it for me to remove the wrinkles and it looked stunning on the day. I could not be happier. Thanks Rupert!

Having recently moved to area I am keen to support local businesses. I have visited Russell’s Dry Cleaning on two occasions now and both times I have been left disappointed with the level of customer service. After my first trip I decided to give the benefit of doubt and told myself I would return, but upon my second trip this week unfortunately I will not be going back. I do think it would be nice if the staff looked happy to be there and if not then a smile when customers walk into the shop would go a long way. Being a dry cleaners it is not ideal when a customer is explaining the reason for the visit, for the shop assistant to tut and shake her head. I am sorry to leave a review like this.
I called various local dry cleaners regarding my wedding dress and this gentleman was the only one that said he needed to see my dress before he quoted a price. This instantly gave me more faith in him in the others because he seemed to know more about them. I went in and he took a look at the dress and told me not to dry clean it and to do it in my own machine! Down to the nature of the beading he recommended I do it myself and not to get it dry cleaned at all. I went home, put a bit of vanish on the stains and washed it. Out came a glowing dress. I would recommend this dry cleaner as the most honest I consulted and though I did not use his services this time, I will most certainly use him the next time I need one.
