Personally, I don’t think chambers are that bad. I’m a bit of a bus enthusiast, so I could be being lenient, but the slanderous criticism might be a bit much. I haven’t had any experience with buses driving past without picking me up, and no driver has ever been rude. Some look quite bored but that’s not the same thing. The majority are kind and relatively helpful. What they could do is improve their fleet. Even getting some old enviro 400s (before the mmc) could help it feel a bit more polished. They could also make some changes to the routes, for example the 753 could run directly through Brad field combust instead of going through sicklesmere, and they could add a 753A to do the small villages for example. So overall personally they’re not as bad as people make out but it could be better.

Very clean buses. Very nice drivers
Sick and tired of these. Bus left at least 4 minutes before time advertised. Doesn't wait. Had a return ticket. Had to take a taxi. Can't even see out of the windows to see your stop in the dark. Their phone number is for Colchester on Google is wrong and their office shuts at 4pm. Sadly they have the contract so we r stuck. Doesn't make me like them.
DISGUSTING! The bus had soaking wet seats. Bus driver hadn't swapped the bus so had to wait an extra 30 minuets for another bus to get to us in Bures from Bury St Edmunds. Bus floor was also very dirty with mouldy orange peel.
Once again the 752 didn't turn up to take pupils to school, (29/10/18) not the first time, buses are generally late, or breakdown, or even go the wrong way. No point in trying to ring them as they will only answer the phone between 9-4!, and then you will get fobbed off, or told they will ring you back and never do! Web site is full of info about them being a customer focused company with modern vehicles! The reality is something quite different. Don't get me wrong some of the bus drives are really nice helpfully people, but there are a few who are completely rude and unhelpful, Unfortunately there is no rival company so nothing will happen and they will just continue to run the same substandard service and pay lip service to any complaint they receive, that is my experience of them!!
