This is my second review! after many visits over the years I have to say Sultan has maintained it's consistency on quality of food and keeping the authenticity of the Turkish cuisine. There was six of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was rich in flavour, hot and salad they serve was a delight. Absolutely delicious, if you like traditional Turkish food, visit this place. Well done Sultan, keep up the good work !!

Sultan Turkish Restaurant has always been my favourite in Ilford ever since it opened. The food is just amazing - well cooked with the best taste. I recommend everyone to try the Turkish Lamb Shank, Mixed Grill and Sikander Kebab. All of these dishes are tried and tested and the taste is ALWAYS the same as the first time. As if they have a set cooking formula. The seating inside the Restaurant is also sufficient to feed over 80 guests. You can order online or by phone and the guys are always welcoming.
I visit this special place from time to time since I enjoy the special atmosphere that is part of this place. The team is extremely loyal and well trained. The service is absolutely quick. Most important, the food they cook is exceptionaly good. I visited often and I was always delighted. The price is decent. I suggest this place to to all.
Great food at a reasonable price. Just what was needed in the east end. Sultan are always helpful and their food is always fresh. Quality Turkish place not to be missed.
Food was really delicious from complimentary salad and main courses. Salad was crunchy and refreshing, lamb was very juicy and tender. Portion was generous, good value for money as well. However, not very good experience with the customer service - waited a while before being served although the restaurant was quite empty. Also no change was given although the change was not much. So the food was very good overall, only the service needs a little improvement.
