Great local galley and park. Next to galley has Sunbury park. You can enjoy walk, but we went there rainy day. We missed Wallington boots. :)) I think it would be better summer time or sunny ️ weather. Parking one hour free!

Great local gallery with cafe and exhibitions. The exhibitions change on a regular basis.

The Millennium Embroidery celebrating local sights and wildlife is an absolute gem. Along with other wonderful works this is well worth a viewing to appreciate the contributions of (I was told) 165 people over a two year period. And then magnificently stitched together. The embroideries also have associated 3D representations at waist height for those with impaired sight. They also have an art display which is changed over time and, as others have said, a lovely tea-room with indoor and outdoor seating. This small centre (with plans to extend) is in the corner of the wonderful Sunbury Walled Garden. The only fee you have to pay is in the car-park (1st hour free I believe) opposite The Magpie. There are also pleasant walks through from the car-parks off Green Street (Near Forge Lane) and The Avenue (by the shops at the river end - currently free since meters missing as at early October 2019). Add to all that, you have the River Thames, great pubs and some smart houses nearby. Well worth a visit.

Excellent tearoom with homemade cakes and pastries, sandwiches and snacks. Tea and other hot drinks are served there too. You can visit the embroidery gallery for free if you like that kind of art. A walk in the beautiful garden can be quite inspiring;)
