Sugar Rush

When I was a scout these boys were hard to beat in all the competitions! I say hard to beat because we did beat them most times.... There wasn't much more satisfying in the calendar than beating them in the raft race (do you still get that oar & rowlock to keep on your mantlepiece?) I do hope you won it a few times in the last 30 years to find out... Because of scouts I actually got my job (put it on your cv, is all the managing director was interested in ) and get paid to travel the world and I'm writing this fishing off my boat, after arriving here without GPS, eating my dinner off a plastic plate with plastic cutlery and I haven't much noticed it hammering down with rain in a Gail force wind realising all the camps, competitions, fun and friendship made me brick hard with an interesting view of the world
