Had the most fantastic Xmas dinner yesterday. The food was cooked to perfection as always. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly hard working staff. The chef did a fantastic job as did the girls serving. First time I have had Xmas dinner out and would definitely do it again here. Well done all of you.x

Good, well kept local ales. Specials board with interesting choices of food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Equally friendly welcoming locals . We had the chilli beef and chill prawn chow mein off of the specials board. Both were large portions of very tasty and spicy food. Would thoroughly recommend.
This is a traditional pub with character and welcoming hosts. They serve very good food and beer. Had superb ham and eggs, the Sunday carvery and a lovely homemade burger. The Swan is also dog friendly.
My wife and I stumbled across this little gem on a weekend away, food is amazing much better then big brands we are used too. We’ve found a new local shame it 140mile round trip from our home in Essex - however never fear we will be back. P.S. the young lady behind the bar who served us was extremely polite.
Hard to find something on the menu that you wouldn’t want to order. Highly recommend the Mexicano burger. Need to return one day to try the ‘gut buster’.
