I know Stuart also, he has personally changed our opinion of Speedy. The help desk we put orders through caused us lost faith in Speedy. Stuart changed all this, as helpful, great with us, customer service is brilliant and just a really nice guy. Never let's us down on delivering orders everytime. The fact he stopped to help someone in such a situation is testament to his ability to be a great person. Well done Stuart. Have just found out that Stuart is no longer with Speedy, failing to pass his probation period. What on earth is that!!!??? Other than a review by the manager Jamie Osborn this place would have 0 stars if Stuart hadn't worked so hard. He represented Speedy brilliantly and yet didn't pass probation??? Management should be looking at what customers say not the store manager. The new driver is so slow and often refusing to lift the equipment on delivery. No offence to that driver, but not a patch on Stuart. Very bad mistake.

Wish to praise this company in particular the actions of one of its staff. We haven't hired any equipment. But one of the dllorry drivers (Stuart) from Swindon branch stopped and help my wife (a diabetic) was suffering a hypoglycemic attack. We had broken down, being stuck had us stressed. Stuart stopped to offer help, seeing the problem I was having he rushed and got some fruit juice and chocolate from his own lunch. He knew exactly what to do with my wife, in fact, better than I did. After helping my wife and ensuring she didn't require an ambulance he went to the garage and got a canister and fuel, put in the car, got us started and even refused to take the money for it saying pop it in a charity pot. If this is the quality and goodness of someone whom drives a lorry at Speedy, highly recommended them to everyone.
