The firm of T A Reed was originally established back in 1840 as a firm of court reporters. Over the years the name became synonymous with quality verbatim reporting of both court cases, conferences and in the 1900s the work of what in those days was the beginnings of the regulatory profession. The firm became incorporated in the mid-2000s and became known as T A Reed & Co Ltd. It has always been a family firm and now in its new incarnation as T A Reed (Wiltshire) Ltd is the same. We are now based in the small market town of Highworth in Wiltshire, from where we continue to offer our clients the service they require. We can provide a verbatim reporter/stenographer to cover any meeting, hearing, arbitration, disciplinary interview or conference. We pride ourselves on both the high standards we bring to our profession of verbatim reporting and our flexibility to offer a range of transcription services, both digital and from machine and pen shorthand. We offer turn round times to suit our clients' needs - from a same day service to 20 days (four working weeks). Many of our stenographers and transcribers are members of BIVR and bring their own personal high standards to their work. All work is treated as confidential and each client is treated as an individual. We offer training in digital transcription - this is not audio typing - and pay what we hope is a realistic rate that values the reporter/transcriber while offering the client value for money.
