Decided to revisit this quaint, quirky shop on Thursday afternoon with my partner. On entering the shop the staff completely ignored us, no welcoming greeting, nothing! Instead my partner and I felt very uncomfortable, the staff were too busy enjoying a conversation amongst themselves instead of dealing with customers. Very disappointed to say the least, absolutely lovely stock shame about the staff. We'll take our custom eleswhere from now on, manners cost nothing and customers are needed to run a business, shame.

I was lucky enough to receive a Cream Tea voucher for Tea and Roses. It was a delight to relax and enjoy a delicious cream tea served with vintage china. The scones were warm and very tasty and came with generous servings of both jam and clotted cream. We had a generously sized teapot with flavoursome Clipper tea.The tearoom has a varied menu and also has a wonderful selection of home-made cakes, including Cake of the Week, and all at very reasonable prices. The Mega-Milkshakes look truly amazing! The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. When you have finished your treat in the tearoom, there are lots of lovely items to browse through in the shop. Definitely worth a visit!
Fabulous as ever . Please support their massive Xmas effort
Visited on Thursday for our second time. Not one staff member spoke, felt like something that had been walked in on the bottom of a shoe. We were going to have lunch there but as we walked to the cafe, the boy in there closed the screen and walked off without a word. Certainly won't be visiting again. No excuse for rudeness.
Love the vibes and the cakes and scones here. Great place to relax as well.
