My car was booked in for service on 26th of August at 10am. I received no email confirmation of the booking which was not the end of the world. On the 25th I never received the pre booking call, again not a big problem. On the day of the service I phoned at 9.20 to confirm the booking and that the collection would take place, at this point I was informed that the collection would take place but it would be later than 10am. I had an appointment at 11am in Birmingham which I informed them of and could they confirm a collection time, I was told they would ring back once they had spoke to the driver, but if possible could I leave the keys on the tyre for the driver (who's insurance covers that one?). At 10.20 still no call so I rang back to find out and was told collection would take place between 12.30 and 1. I said this was not possible and a new date was required which was accepeted and they would call back to arrange , I'm still waiting for that call. I have had previous work done at this dealer with mixed results and just accepted it. I have never found the need to write a review but this is not acceptable. If a dealer cannot even organise the collection a car properly how good is the rest of the service? If I had told them I would deliver a car at 10 and rolled up at 1 what would there responce be?
