Previously a trading society, Tharsos aims to focus solely on market reports through fulfilling the function of being UCL’s sole provider of financial news. In January 2020, Tharsos was granted affiliation with the UCL Student Union after 4 years of independence. With access to facilities on campus, funding and further support, we believe Tharsos will continue to thrive. Our members make up who we are and are fundamental to the success of the group. We are proud to say that a large number of past members have secured spring, summer and graduate placements at a large number of firms. In the 2019/20 recruiting season, our members received a record number of spring/summer offers from firms including Lazard, Rothschild, Deutsche Bank, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Citi, HSBC, PWC, BAML and Evercore. At Tharsos, not only do we write high quality market reports. We also ensure our members support one another through CV clinics, interview preparation, test tips and more.
