Fantastic place for breakfast. The portions were very generous and reasonably priced. The ingredients were fresh and we'll prepared (runny eggs and hot crispy hash browns). The cafe is positioned on the side of a little hill overlooking the sea and the pier so do grab a window table to enjoy the view. The staff was friendly and welcoming, we had a lovely time. Thank you!

Went there with family and all of us loved what we ordered. Ruby and the other girls were really polite and helpful always with a smile on their face. The only thing is the size of most of the boxes are quite small, the one I have ordered The beach box was well served, but all the others with fish or prawns were a bit small, but it didn't take the nice atmosphere and pleasure to be there enjoying the food, the nice weather and good view. The dessert was really good as well! I would come back for sure.
In this time of lockdown; excersise is important. The Beach Shack offers a great section of snacks and hot drinks to go.
Four of us had delicious nicely cooked fish dishes. Beautiful location on a sunny day. Service was good with adequate social distancing for Covid 19
If you want crab cakes that taste nothing like crab, then this is the place for you. Not offered a refund and didn't have time for anything else so my wife tried to eat it but couldn't. She absolutely loves crab and crab cakes by the way. My gourmet burger was disappointingly small and tasted like cheap meat disguised with sauce and pickles. One star is too much. Go somewhere else.
