A ray of sunlight on a rainy day off the A36 on the way to Warminster. Sunday lunch at short notice, with 2 small dogs the staff bent over backwards to help. It was carvery day and self service on the veg. I ended up with a very large plate of good quality food, a pudding and a drink all for 20. The atmosphere was good and I was greeted by the most amazing smile I've seen for a long time. Only small niggle, but if you're tucked around the corner and it's busy, you may have to chase to pay your bill!
Fantastic pub to drink and and eat out ! I have some very odd dietary requirements,however they were more than happy to accommodate!! Beautifully cooked steak!!! Will definitely return!!
We booked for Friday night thinking it would be packed but we were the only ones in there, the music was more for sunday there was no real fun atmosphere. The food well the vegetables were not fresh nor was the tiny bit of salad. My mate ordered the burger and it was stiff and pink.. Rather unimpressive
Passed by on the way to see Stonehenge. Came back for Sunday pub lunch and it was delicious!
