Situated in a very unexpected place, floating just on the side of the coastal path, very understated place. We got there around 11am and stopped for a quick brunch. Turns out that what the perfect time to pop over without booking as they were fully booked for lunch already. Very friendly lady informed us about all the Covid regulations we had to obey. We were taken to our table and given the menu but we chose to go for the special of the day and it was a great choice! Beautiful hot crab ramekin! Yum! If you’re in the area, this is a lovely, quaint restaurant that you should try out x

Food was good and fresh but my bike and others bikes were thrown to the side because they were chained to what we thought was a unused chain on the floor but we returned to our bikes thrown down the embankment and a trolley in their place i assume from a delivery. Two bikes were damaged. So good food just don't use the chain next to the red biffa big to attach your bikes or am impatient person instead of popping in the cafe and asking if someone can move a bike will just chuck them down the embankment without a care to attach a old trolley for delivery's.

Driving through Bembridge, we popped in to buy some crab meat for tea. I had a quick chat with the owner and bought a large pot. If we had more time, we would have stayed for lunch or at least a crab sandwich. Any way the Crab made for a brilliant crab linguine that night. Having read the reviews, seen the place, watched the lads preparing the Crab, and having chatted to the staff and seen the view, we will come back and eat.

We had a lovely lunch here. The owner welcomed us with a short story of what they do and how they’ve developed the restaurant and showed us their kitchen where the lobsters and crabs are cooked fresh daily. The lady in the cafe was very nice and provided great service. We had the special platter for 2 as shown in the picture which was priced reasonable and well prepared!
