We had a mid morning break here, coffee and scones for some breakfast for others. The small full breakfast was available as gluten free including toast and even the black pudding! Small was more than adequate even fur a serious walker. The scrambled eggs with smoked salmon was lovely eggs just right and lots of smoked salmon and thick cut toast. The staff are friendly, competent and manage well even with the Covid restrictions. If you need to warm up there's a table right beside the stove - recommended! although we were very comfortable at our table. Nice clean toilet! One way system means exiting through the shop, and a chance to browse. There's lots to see and do in Ballater and autumn colours are magnificent.

Delicious coffee! This was a nice place for a short rest during our journey.

Lovely place, staff very friendly and tables socially distant enough to make me comfortable with eating inside. Food was excellent: cup of coffee, pot of tea and two slices of delicious banana fudge cake for less than a tenner. Would definitely recommend

Very nice full breakfast. Cafe was quite busy but the service was good and we didn't have long to wait. Good portion sizes, a very good little cafe indeed.

Had breakfast here and it was great. The fried breakfast was huge. I had the amazing granola which seemed a bit pricey at 4.95 but worth it! Came with a mountain of Greek yogurt as well as apple, blueberry, strawberry and raspberry. Yum! Def worth a visit.
