The Cheese Shop is a real gem of a place. Julie is absolutely amazing. So so knowledgeable and friendly. The range of cheeses in this gorgeously tiny shop is fantastic! I phoned Julie during lockdown to order some surprise gift boxes for four lots of friends. She was so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I phoned on the Saturday and because I didn't need the boxes to arrive at their destinations until the Wednesday, Julie cut and posted them on Monday, so that the cheeses would be as fresh as possible. All four lots of my friends, in very different parts of the country received their gift boxes promptly the next day and they were all absolutely thrilled with them! I would highly recommend to everyone and if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you Julie!

I adore this little shop so much, a small but well-rounded selection of cheeses and super friendly helpful service!

Great service! This is a lovely little cheese shop nestled on the high street. Great selection of cheeses and I discovered some tasty tinned olives I’ll definitely be back for. I’d highly recommend booking the wine and cheese board that you can do at the back of the shop in a cosy space.

Great little place. One of only two shops which sell real cheese in Canterbury, but this is more central. Julia has a great selection of British and other cheeses, as well as yummy things to go with cheese. Also sells some interesting wines and does tapas. Despite it being small, it's exactly what you want from a cheese shop. Reminds me of Paris. Julia delivers, and I think she holds cheese and wine tastings (Corona permitting). Definitely worth a visit.

Myself and family were down from Merseyside for a couple of days and my grandaughter spotted this gorgeous cheese shop! We were invited in for a taster and oh my the best cheese ever and such a lovely friendly service too! Hopefully I can order a cheese selection box for Christmas! Many thanks!
