My trip to the Chelsea day spa was fantastic. I was in desperate need of a haircut and my lovely stylist did a fantastic job. The receptionist was polite and friendly , I was offered refreshments and my stylist made sure I was completely happy with everything that she was doing. I am new to London and have definitely found a good salon that I will return to. Thanks again!

Overall really poor experience. After reading some negative reviews I was sceptical, however decided to give them a chance anyways since my boyfriend bought me a voucher as a gift. I booked a massage and facial. The spa itself is old and needs upgrading. The massage was just okay, the lady was really sweet but I have definitely had much better massages. When you are paying a high and full price for a massage, you’d expect much better. Somehow I was booked in for the wrong facial which was an error on the spa’s part. When confronting them about it before my facial was completed and explaining I could not come back as I was moving out of the country, they were incredibly rude. Even if I was able to make it back to the spa before the move, I would not be keen to. The worst part about it all is that I emailed “management” as soon as I could home and still have yet to receive any sort of reply. This was nearly a month ago. Shame the rest of the voucher will just go to waste. Bottom line, avoid this spa, there are far better ones in the area with much better customer service.
I visited the Chelsea Dy Spa for a full head of highlights, cut and blow dry and I have to say the service and value was fantastic. The salon atmosphere is lovely, very relaxed sitting above the Kings Road watching the world go by and the staff were all really friendly. My stylist was very efficient and the colour came out great. I was so pleased I've already booked my next appointment!
The salon is in a good location and has a lovely interior and atmosphere. I had a voucher for a shellac manicure and pedicure. I was disappointed with the poor choice in shellac colour available. There are many shades of red and dark/bright pink as well as a selection of quite random colours. I chose a bright pink for my toes but I really didn't want any of the colours on my hands. There is a great selection of OPI nail varnishes so I got a regular manicure and received free cuticle work in exchange, which I think was a fair compromise.
I have been to the Chelsea Day Spa for a few different treatments- most recently for an extraction facial. The girls were professional and timely and my skin looked great the next day. I will definitely be going back! Also love the Spa's seasonal offers- but remember, these are cash only.
I went for this massage today and it was awful! I asked for medium to hard pressure and the masseuse literally rubbed massage oil on me. She asked if the pressure was firm enough at the start and I asked her to be firmer but it made no difference. I again asked her to be firmer later on to no avail. I also asked her to focus on the shoulder area but she didn't do this either. She was very pleasant but I feel I have paid for a massage I have not received. I have written to them and have had no response about my experience! I would not book a massage here again.
I've been to Chelsea Day Spa on King's Road a couple of times for a massage and have always come away feeling relaxed and refreshed. The staff are very friendly and offer great advice. There's also a lovely selection of products such as candles available which bring a sense of 'spa' home. I'd recommend the spa to anyone looking to relax in a soothing atmosphere.
I had a wonderful and fully relaxing body massage. The lovely lady made me feel brand new again. This was my second visit to The Chelsea Day Spa, the last one being at Hollywood Road, and I would not hesitate to recommend either of them. Pure luxurious bliss!
