Portland Quarry! One of my all time favourite places! Carved animals out of stone and a total free hidden treasure! Enjoy walking around looking at all the free sculptures and then literally five minutes from this wondrous place you get to see some of the most amazing panoramic views across Dorset. I would say the only place I have found to date that compares with views is Hardys monument! You can walk from this location all the way around to Portland Bill and the more famous lighthouse. This location is literally five minutes from a car park - so you can either do lots of walking or none at all. Either way you will still have a fantastic views.

Very windy on the day but breathtaking views from the cliff top. Beautiful in summer also. Stone sculptures look amazing though some have deteriorated overtime or been vandalised which is a shame. Overall a lovely walk through.

Love it here. Such a nice walk. Perfect day out for people who want to walk, see beautiful sights and make the most of the sunshine but who also don't like busy places with loads of humans (ME!) You can follow this right round to Portland Bill from the heights...We love this walk

We live locally but never had a nose around. With the help of the map showing us where the different sculptures were we went on the hunt, it was really good and the sculptures was impressive. We took something to eat and decided to sit down overlooking Weymouth, there's plenty of wildlife to keep track off and the views from the costal path are spectacular..

Honestly one of my favourite things to do when in Portland. Really interesting sculptures and I can happy spend hours poking around the quarry sculptures, I always seem to find something new.
