If you're ever in Mersea Island this is an absolute must visit if you like fresh fish and seafood. It's friendly, rustic and above all the food is outstanding. You can even take your own alcohol. It's a not to be missed on Mersea experience :-)

Very much a spit and sawdust fish restaurant. Amazing staff, who are friendly and welcoming, plus helpful when choosing from the menu or specials. An array of locally caught produce. If you love delicious fish, crabs and lobster, served in a rustic and honest fashion come here. Note, they now have a drinks licence, but if you want bread you need to bring your own bread. There is a bread shop close by.
