Excellent service and decent food. Puds were the best bit. Not wowed by the other courses, but it was good. Nice ambience despite the 2020 restrictions. Setting and location are great and would have had a nice walk (if it weren't chucking it down today).

The most incredible views! We stopped by for a refreshing drink after a day exploring the Bolton Abbey estate. Really glad we visited and we'll definitely be back in the future to try the food - the menu looked great.
Lovely food and service. Lighting too bright so it’s not cosy, more like a cafe despite serving quality food. Such a lovely setting and views, the interior needs to be more cosy and less cold.

This is a great stop for a meal when you visit Bolton Abbey. It is a classy establishment that you can reserve a table or just turn up. You can absorb the excellent scenery by sitting outside and eating in the shade, or sun. It is not the cheapest meal, but you will enjoy it. It would have be nice to see some more variety on the menu, cold sandwiches, for example. After the visit, I discovered their were alternative menus that I was not aware of. Otherwise, an excellent service at a great, historic location.
