Steph, Trevor and all the staff at the dice box are so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I've had fantastic evenings during their social nights where they have matched me up with people to play with. I've always felt so welcome and never alone or awkward. They also helped me to source a role play game suitable for my kids. I would have never known what to buy on my own but what they suggested was perfect and now they're wanting more!

Such a great place, even if you're not into board games! The staff are friendly and very welcoming. They'll even help to teach the games to you. The food and drink is reasonably priced and tastes great. They have gluten-free options too, and always have a good range of cakes. With a varied rota of themed nights, including social gaming, there's something for everyone. A real gem!

What a wonderful gem of a spot, right in the centre of a great town. I came here with my dad and grandmother. The staff patiently explained which games would suit us as an intergenerational group, how the games work and really took the time to make us feel like family. It's a rare thing to find an establishment where everyone is having such great, wholesome fun. The range of games were incredible an entire library to choose from. Food was delicious (especially the cake!). Staff amazing! Can't recommend booking a table more highly.

A smashing games cafe. Have had many enjoyable days here with family. Lots of different games for all ages and abilities. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and will help you if needed. The food and drinks are very good. I would ignore any bad reviews as this is a fabulous place to spend a few hours enjoying yourself. Go check it out!

We had the most wonderful time at the dice box, Steph and Trev were amazing, and made us very welcome. It must have been very hard to close the shop for so long with the lock down as they had not been open much more than a year. They have worked so hard to get as many 5 star reviews, and now they have made even more improvement for even more enjoyment and to make sure you enjoy your visit. I can understand how hard it must have been, not to open sooner and to turn people away, as I know that they are itching to open as soon as they are happy with the new look shop. Great idea that you can still get there games on line with there website.

What an absolute gem, although I’ve spent a small fortune during lockdown! I can’t wait until they can reopen again. Although I’ve heard they are doing some work, so I’m looking forward to seeing the new changes. The service here is always top notch, and the food is delicious! They even offer tasty gluten free options, which is great for my partner! We can’t wait to go back!
