Sometimes you read a review and are left wondering”is this just a one off by someone who turned up at just the right time, on just the right night”. As frequent visitors to Leeds, my wife and I are often on the look out for somewhere different, and use the reviews as a pointer. That is how we chose to visit last night, and let me just say, what a fantastic night. Starting from the welcome at the door, by quite possibly the most polite doorman I have ever met, through the door (behind the barber’s shop) into an intimate and atmospheric room. Social distancing measures meant that the venue was less busy than you might expect, but that didn’t impede the atmosphere. The staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly. The musicians were fabulous. The drinks were amazing. We would recommend this venue to anyone. It was our first visit, but will definitely not be the last, despite the 120 mile journey to Leeds to get there. So relaxing. So enjoyable. Totally fantastic. If you are in any doubt about the reviews you read, then don’t doubt this one. You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much for an amazing night.

What a fab little place. Went last night and really enjoyed the place, the service and the live music was excellent. Lovely quirky bar, something different to wondering round not knowing where to go. Would definitely recommend a visit.
The bar is located underground and you have to go through a door at the back of a barber shop. I found it to be really cool. I went on a Saturday night and there was a live gig. The three bands that they were playing were really good. Good range of spirits. A bit pricey. Totally worth it
Dark in here init. Went in March and got illness but still had a good night.
