Visited on a Friday morning, having called ahead to book in advance. Easy to find, cute little place with nice views of fields and sheep. Dog friendly with treats outside for your four legged friend. Was greeted at the entrance, sanitised and checked in on the covid app. Shown to a table in an annex thats not as nice as the main seating area. Cold, white box room with harsh strip lighting. Not much thought given to social distancing as 6 tables in area, 3 sets of guests all been seated at tables next to each other. Food is the saviour here. Whoever cooks the eggs is fantastic. Had the farmhouse breakfast good portion sizes. Not a bad place, but has so much potential.

We thought we would try somewhere new as we visit Guildford occasionally. Saw this place online so thought it was worth a go. Booked in advance for breakfast. Arrive at a large, well laid out carpark and walked to the entrance. Sanitising station and COVID booking in QR code so all good. The place looked inviting with a well stocked cake display. We were led through a cosy looking restaurant to what seemed to be an extension which was a bit plain and not very warm. The place was clean and tidy with sanitised table signs. Unfortunately once sat down another visitor was sat behind and very close. Our chairs were literally back to back so not great for social distancing. Ideally the tables should be more spaced. Coffee arrived promptly and was very good. We ordered avocado on sour dough bread with poached eggs and chorizo and a full English. Both arrived within about 10 minutes and were decent portions. No offer of more drinks but we were happy to tuck in. Full English was ok, a little bland but plenty of it although the beans were a bit disappointing. Avocado was good and the chorizo spicy although the sour dough bread was a bit stingy and didn’t go far enough, leaving a lot of ‘mush’ to get through at the end. Bit of a wait to clear the table so by then we were ready to leave. Views were quite nice overlooking fields and sheep and a fair few people were eating outside despite the poor weather. There was also a dog cafe feeding station although we did see one or two people filling their pockets from it! All in all not bad and probably nicer if we had been in the main part of the restaurant. Food was ok but not worth a special trip to return to. If this was useful, please like
Always been happy going for lunch or just coffee here. Staff are friendly, food is freshly prepared and cooked. Sometimes service slows down if the place gets really busy but food is always good and worth the wait. Currently the early part of the week is really busy as the government's 50% eat out incentive is proving popular.
Lovely place for a relaxed breakfast/brunch. Not cheap, but good quality. Nice atmosphere.
Brunch menu is delicious! Chef did a great job and our food came quite quickly. Excellent coffee as well.
