Stopped here for lunch off the cuff as we were nearby and I am so pleased that we did!! Such an amazing find and the food was phenomenal!! The starter calamari was delicious and the batter was so light, mains I had the ham and eggs whilst hubby had the Mixed Grill and we had desert to take away! Amazing and polite staff, and hats off to the chef for such amazing quality food! Would definitely recommend only managed to get a photo of my ham and eggs once I started eating as I always forget

Went for a takeaway after a good friend recommended it. We've got so excited by this because it was a proper chippy dinner! Not only that, we could have it delivered! We can never get deliveries to our house, so doubly excited by the lack of effort on our part. It genuinely tasted like a proper chip shop dinner, the fish was delicious with crispy batter, good mushy peas and all hot.
Great country pub. Good for sunday dinners! Friendly staff, good selection of beers and good food. Improved outdoor seating area nice for warmer weather. Felt safe with the covid measures. Looking forward to going back again
