I visited The Good Shelf Company looking for a new coffee table but when I got talking to the owner David about some furniture we had, he actually suggested they cut the legs off our unused old kitchen table to make it a coffee table ! They restored it and brought it to life as a coffee table finishing it with a beautiful polish to compliment the oak. It was delivered back to us by David and his team who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We love our oak dining table! We heard about the Good Shelf Company from word of mouth as live near Henley and had heard great things. We were searching to buy a new table just before Christmas & gave them dimensions we required and the design we liked. They made & finished the table exactly how we wanted - they even colour matched the paint in our kitchen! Very impressed with the service and overall product. We will buy again.

I ordered back in May 2020 a garden table to seat 8/10 people it arrived 6 weeks later and was delivered by David the owner/part owner who put together the table. Before he left and on inspection I noticed a crack in one of the plants. At the time David said it should close up , as it a natural wood and the rain and weather conditions will help age and reduce the crack. The crack never did close up, infact has got worse!! On numerous occasions I have been in touch with David who has either said He is busy and will come and replace the said plank once thing had settled down, well it’s now nearing the end of November and after trying to contact The Good Shelf company endless times, David has never returned my emails or calls or instagram messages. Feed up and completely dissatisfied with this company and the lack of customer serivce! Somehow , I think I will be waiting for ever. Not happy and won’t be recommending this company to anyone!

Really disappointing. I placed an order which arrived but was wrong, the order confirmation was inconclusive on the shelf depth so I’ve emailed (3 times) and asked them to confirm or let me know if I could send back. Have had no response so I’m left with a redundant set of shelves. Poor customer service which is a shame as it’s a great product.

Brilliant company and excellent products. They do exactly what they say they’re going to, even making something a bespoke size at no extra cost - nothing was too much trouble. So nice to come across a company who just want to do a good job for their customers and for you to love their products.
