WE have been here once for food and many times for a quick drink! The newly refurbished pub has been completed to an excellent standard and really creates a nice atmosphere dine and socialise in. The service was attentive and the food was excellent - no issues at all. There is a good selection of local ales and popular lagers as well as plenty of spirits!! The beer garden is split into two, one at the side (excellent for watching the world pass by!) and one at the back, which is small compared to other pubs in the area however this has never stopped us getting a seat. If you have visited this pub pre-refurbishment (formally the Red Lion) I would recommend visiting again as the improvements make it unrecognisable from what drab and dingy place it once was.

We had an amazing Xmas lunch. The food was quality and so much! Staff superb. COVID safe environment. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Thank you to the Hanger. Merry Xmas
We have just finished the Hampshire burger delivered to our door, WOW, what a fantastic burger... the cheese cake looks amazing too, just need to let this burger go down before we dive into that!
Great menu and setting for a birthday lunch. Appreciated the welcome and friendly, efficient staff. The pork belly bites starter was a delight
I feel its unfair to give a full review on any venue at this time. Now I'll start with the negative. I'm a country lad and there's nothing a love more then getting a good pint in a tanker and I would expect a local boozer to have this available yet it didn't- thats it thats the negative the positive the food was beautiful bit pricie but well presented. The venue looks amazing, very up market. I look forward to it re-opening
