What a wondeful concept to have coffee, general store and gorgeously unique products! We ordered a table, which was delivered with such care, socially distanced, and Steven and Gareth had huge amounts of patience unscrewing the top, and trying numerous ways into the house before eventually it was able to go through the back door. All done with a great sense of humour, and good old fashioned service, which is often so unusual to come by these days. Thank you for such a brilliant experience Chaps. We look forward to supporting you once fully open at the Beverage Bar and General Store.

I came across The Hive through a local small business in Altrincham and at the time in December when I needed a top quality Christmas tree! I rang and Steven was so helpful on the phone, making sure I got a tree size fitting my home. Home delivery was a bonus as I don't drive. The tree was of superb quality (just like home in Sweden) and lasted in perfect condition throughout the festive period. The warmth and service is outstanding. I am very lucky to live here in Altrincham with such wonderful independent business The Hive by @vh_interiors down the road. Thank you both so much! Nina x
I always love dropping in at the Hive, in all its incarnations. It's always good for interesting and unusual gifts, and now great beverages as well. Needless to say Gareth and Steven are lovely, and absolutely at the heart of our community. Their commitment to being as environmentally responsible as possible is the icing on the cake of a great local business.
Just love everything about visiting here. The stock is genuinely interesting, ever changing and beautifully displayed, the stove is often roaring and only matched by the warmth and cheerful good humour of Steven and Gareth. You never leave without something unexpected and gorgeous- sometimes a candlestick or piece of furniture or just a card but whatever you clutch you will be smiling, having just had a genuinely lovely experience.
Great that the Hive is still managing to operate. Cool stuff to buy from VH Interiors or just enjoy the great atmosphere.
I came across the Hive on social media some time ago. The transformation to their wonderful shop, and amazing product ranges, since then is jaw dropping. Their shop truly is an Aladdin's Cave of goodies. Everything is so well presented and their knowledge on what they sell is second to none. There are fewer things better than supporting a truly independent business that offers great products and great service and is owned and run by two genuinely nice people.
I LOVE THIS PLACE. I've bought a few things from these guys from a beautiful chesterfield sofa right down to some colourful garden twine, their range of products is incredible, and always so tastefully curated. But my favourite part is just visiting their store, it's got such a lovely ambiance, it makes you wish you could just bring a book with you and curl up there with a brew. Definitely recommend!
