Covid-19 Takeaway. We are all blown away by the amazing quality food we picked up. 10 each for a 3 course Sunday dinner with a choice of starters, meats and dessert. The food was hot and delicious, the meat cooked perfectly. There was so much food that we had to wait until later for the desserts which were also delicious. Out of all of the places we have tried during lockdown, this has been the best. If you're local to Brown Edge you're in for a treat. Best Sunday dinner in ages!

Can't express how grateful we are to the staff for opening up the pub and making us food on their day off just for us to remember our late Gramps who sadly passed away just before his birthday. We were still able to celebrate in his favourite pub. Thank you to Stacey, Amanda and Martin. Xx

Interesting clientele most of which seemed to have been enjoying the beverages for several days. Everyone really friendly. Don't go for a meal after 6pm, that's when they stop serving food, and go back onto just drink! Working mans pub with live guitar 50s/60s music on Sunday night. Good local beer. Lots of kids running around in the public bar, and things all a bit out of hand. Should not stop you going there, it's really great fun for a while but not a whole evening, unless you are a local of course!
