Nice pub for a meal but can get busy at lunchtimes when the teenagers from College come in. The food is nice, the staff are friendly, and the layout and cleanliness of the place is great too. During high summer or when it is warm, you can have your meal served to you outside in the beer garden, but they no longer allow dogs in which is a shame. There is a lift in the beer garden for disabled access if you have trouble getting up the steps into the pub.

It not really a pub, but a youth club with food. The whole place was packed with 16/17 year olds eating burgers... In fairness drinking soft drinks too. The place lacked any form of \pub atmosphere\. To be completely fair to the place the food was good and the staff were decent and working hard, I'm a Wetherspoons fan too, this one just didn't hit the spot.

This finished off an interesting visit to Guisborough, it's really well worth calling in. Although it is 2 years old, it has a pleasant mix of traditional and modern decor. Excellent selection of real ales and wines to choose from. It's light and airy and a good place to meet up with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful and chatted to us, with the mutual comments about eachothers accents! The ladies were clean and tidy and well presented. The front entrance and beer garden is nicely set out, with flower tubs etc and steps leading up into the building. There is also an external lift to let wheelchairs and prams etc access as well. We'll certainly be calling in there again.
