What a horrible experience. I have waited a year to wright this to see if other companies are the same. They're not. I flew in to show them my Robin DR400 and was given a reasonable quote (3k) for an annual so I booked it in. It took over two months and I collected it and paid the 10k bill. It did need a new prop that was nearly 3k but not all the rest of the list of items that they changed where not actually nessesary for the annual I found out after. The mark up on the parts was rediculous. 30-40% when they are already making a fortune on the 82 hours it took them. Nearly 5000 they charged me. Not happy with this they put on 150 on the price of the prop for making phone calls. Two weeks after I picked it up it broke down. They came out and done something which got it going again. A few weeks later it wouldn't start again. It turned out to be the Magnetos. To collect the aeroplane and fix this they charged me 15 hours labour and parts 1723.44 I think that worked out to be over 500 to collect the plane a half hour flight and 1200 for a 500 hour mag inspection. When I asked how they came up with the hours they started shouting down the phone at me. I have been dreading the next annual all year and would not ever set foot in Snoring hanger again. I have just picked the robin up from its annual this year from another company who quoted me 3k and it came to 3115
