We went to see The Intellectual Hooligans at the Maddermarket Theatre last night, first time we've ever been there and it was a fantastic night! They are an improv comedy group who used the audience to make random and funny suggestions to base the theme they went with, just like the show Who's Line is it Anyway. It was completely hilarious.

One of my favourite places I’ve been to in Norwich. Super cute interior, friendly staff and such good charity work occurring too. Not bad prices for tickets as well! Would 100% recommend a performance here.

Lovely evening here. The theatre is nice with roomy seats. Toilets spotless. Good bar with nice seating area and can take drinks into theatre. Raymond Froggatt, what can i say. Fantastic show as ever from this performer. He and his band should be good by now as they have had plenty of practice over the years. Brilliant show!!!!!

Love the place ! I can happily say that I've watched many theatre productions there and all have been exquisite! The architecture on the building is truly warming when sat inside waiting for the play to start. I have laughed ,gasped and even sobbed in the same plush chair. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. What an absolute pleasure to be in the era of great talent shown at the Maddermarket theatre!

Where to start? This is a lovely local small theatre with an abundance of charm located in the heart of Norwich near to St. John Maddermarket. Over the years, I've seen multiple productions from local and touring groups which have always been at a very high standard with inventive staging, making good use of the small stage. This intimate venue is ideal for an alternative night at the theatre. Would heartily recommend the Ronaldo's ice cream at the interval.
