Just been in the Market for the first time in about 2 years for a Sunday roast and WOW, has to be one of if not the tastiest roasts in Tavi! Portion sizes are incredible as my setee will testify for at least the next hour or so. Seriously good people of Tavistock, try the food you won't be disappointed

Classic older Pub.Recently refurbished .Car park and small beer garden. This place is cosy and welcoming with two open fires. very comfortable and once there it is hard to leave! T. V. Sports, a pool table and a dart board are on tap as are a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Food is served lunchtimes and evenings. Best thing about the place? The owners, Martin and his wife Barbera are wonderful, hospitable people. Not open to 3pm on Mondays. No food on Mondays. Highly recommended. Now serving a selection of delicious home made pizzas, eat in or take away. I ordered one today and can personally recommend it.
Quite pleasant. Landlady is lovely and made us feel welcome. Basic pub grub but no complaints...it was hot and tasty and did the job. It wasn't busy but there was a comfortable atmosphere and my partner was happy with the beer!
Had a great meal, and staff very friendly, very well priced.
Nice staff, dog friendly, covid precautions and great food.
