The Musical Box is a fantastic, fun place to study music. Tim and the team are dedicated people who are passionate about what they do. Charlie is now working toward his Grade 4 Drum exam and has thoroughly enjoyed his time with them especially performing in the summer concerts held each year which are great fun for all the family. Here is a place to learn music which offers a young, vibrant approach, I recommend one hundred per cent.

My son Jasper has been taking Rock Drum lessons at the Musical Box for a little over two years and I have to say (as a drummer myself) they are doing a great job! Jasper is confident, excited and, for a young lad, now a really excellent reading drummer. When I started coming to the Musical Box I thought that all the lessons would be geared toward children and set up for doing exams, but I was pleasantly surprised as all the lessons are tailored to what I want to do and the way I prefer to learn. I've now been taking bass lessons almost every week for the last three years. I find that even when I don't get time to practice, going to the lesson keeps me focussed and enjoying playing bass. Kev, my bass teacher, is patient and professional. Because he listens to what I need and is so easy to get on with, lessons have never felt like a chore and are something I look forward to each week.

I highly recommend The Musical Box !!!! A very friendly team and inspiring environment to learn a musical instrument or vocals. Over the past couple of years our son, Harry, has been having drum lessons, gaining confidence, learning new styles, techniques to use with his band and taking his Grades 6 - 8 achieving excellent results, all credit to the excellent teaching. Brilliant music school for all ages. My sons learnt guitar, keyboard and drums over several years and I was inspired to take up guitar myself ... the inspiring teachers have proved it's never too late to learn something new! Great set up and location with plenty of parking and even room for parents to wait for their children in comfort while making themselves a cup of tea or coffee!
