Shocking Surgery, the Reception staff are always so rude and unhelpful. I called today for an emergency repeat prescription that I wasnt aware I had run out of and explained why this happened, explained the seriousness of why I need it prescribed so I am not without it for 5 days during a bank holiday and there has been no urgency to deal with this. I have had a call from my pharmacy to ask on the progress, & 111 have said the Practice Manager needed to resolve the issue within the hour due to the stress levels it is putting me under and that I cannot be without it for more than 2 days but they did not have anyone in the surgery today and all Doctors too busy to take my call or send a repeat prescription to the Pharmacy. I have spoken to 3 different reception staff to be told theres nothing that can be done other than to just wait, which 111 have said I cannot do due to the health complications and i am now worried about my health. I like my Doctors/Nurses but the receptionist staff are very rude and it lets this practice down massively.

AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COSTS!! The receptionist staff at this practice are very unhelpful in particular a middle age blonde woman with glasses who looks like she is in her fifties is abnoxious, extremely rude and unhelpful! Her attitude towards myself and other patients should not be allowed! Her bitter attitude towards patients is intimidating and someone in her position should be more helpful and caring towards patients! She is just scary!! Please get rid of her because she is ruining your practice and Scaring patients away!!! Shame on you for testing patients with such disrespect!! The staff at this practice need training and socialising skills so they know how to interact with other humans!!

I called the Surgery on Monday. I waited quite a while before being able to talk to the receptionist. Yes, they are rude, I guess they never had any customer service training and they are not happy to have to go to work. They just don't make any effort to be nice. A nurse called me once on Monday. It is really unfortunate that I missed her call because I have been chasing her for the last 3 days . Every time, I talk to the receptionist who says that the nurse will call me back when she will have time. This is an extremely appalling service. I went there quite a few times in the last few years and the GPs are good, thanks God.

You are lucky if you can experience the rudeness of the receptionists. It is Monday 1PM and I have been waiting for 15 minutes to have my call answer and I am still waiting. I wonder how it can be that busy. Is it lunch break?

Had to give one star otherwise could not write a review, I agree with everyone about the receptionist I believe it is one bad apple she would not give her name when asked. I think the best thing to do would be to get some kind of petition to get her replaced, I know she’s been there a long time and has just got worse as time has gone on, anybody out there know how to start one. Also I’ve no idea who my doctor is now after dr Edmond left who in my opinion was the most excellent doctor, but who is in charge of the reception is there a manager, if so they should be held to account.

For a surgery that covers quite a large area there just aren't enough doctors at the surgery, and those that do are rarely working full time. I rang up twice in Dec 2020 and was told that they only had 1 Dr on and that is most days. I asked were they sick? And got the answer, 'No, its regularly only 1-2 Dr's. just the way it is'...How is this in the middle of winter and the middle of a pandemic!? If Dr's run a practice/surgery there should be a minimum no. of Dr's on at any one time on a rota to serve the community. Over the years the service has just got worse. As a community, it seems very little we can do about it, and have limited options. No wonder 111 and A&E are over run pre and post pandemic if you can't get 1st line care.

The Receptionist are horrid. They are rude, ignorant and completely unempathetic. They act as though they have gone to medical school and are now doctors. They should respect their position and stop acting like they have any kind of authority. I have been trying to get my child seen for over two weeks and they have been so terrible. They talk to you like your beneath them, they don't take the time to listen to you because obviously "they're smarter than you and the doctors combined". I really wish the government would audit the quality of customer service that these receptions have. I'm confident that if these receptionist were working in the private sector, all of them would be unemployed. Absolute trash.

Appaling client service, receptionists are rude and seem to try to be unhelpful. This is by far the worst surgery I have ever used and all because some members of the reception team seemingly couldnt care less.
