Whatever you do, don't miss this wonderful shop in St Andrews. The lovely owners have a great knowledge of cheese and they stock a wide range of cheeses and some exceptional ones that are hard to find elsewhere. However, they offer a great mail order service too! The owners are clearly passionate about their business and in giving their customers great cheeses and great customer service. I can't wait to go back!

Love this little hidden gem! Stumbled across it on one of my many, many visits to St Andrews. I'm guessing they are pretty new, but they were too busy for more than a quick chat with the owners - who are really lovely! Despite every one of the five tables being full including ourselves they were smiling and super nice to everyone. The tiny cavern-like shop is filled to the brim with all kinds of flavoursome cheeses which you can sample and lots of other colourful nibbles. We sat in the sunshine in the cobble stone garden and had a glass of champagne and delicious cheesecake - will be back very soon!

Had a "Bake" here which was the best part of 9. Expected a baked potato with the selected topping with a nice side salad. The bake was a little oval shaped casserole dish with about half of a reasonable sized baked potato chopped up with the chosen haggis topping layered on top and microwaved (they appear to have 3 microwaves behind the counter tucked away in the corner). The side salad consisted of some salad leaves and some shredded beetroot. At this price I would have expected a little more "salad" in the side salad. Quite overpriced in my opinion but tasty enough. The best option on the menu looked to be soup and sandwich which looked to be chunky bloomer style bread, and I think that was about 6 which seemed better value. As a place to eat I'd say it was mediocre, but the main business of it seems to be the cheese (obviously) and they had a decent array of cheeses from all over and from what I overheard they can send orders anywhere. If in St. Andrews and a fan of cheese worth a look in.

Went for lunch ordered two pot of tea and the tea was so weak asked to change it to water my partner still had the tea but needed a new cup as the tea when poured was like hot milk. Given a fresh pot and fresh cup with an extra tea bag and it was no better Food was not up to much overpriced as well They also added on 'optional' service charge however when paying charged you for the service charge making you obliged to pay it! Shocking service overall.

Experience?? - More like a brilliant adventure through the world of ever maturing cheeses. Neatly tucked away just off the main street, in a quaint courtyard, one is transported to a taste bud party, a feast for the eyes, wanton salivation and rumbling tums. So much knowledge and willingness to export it is very rare these days but here you can be prepared for an education on styles and marriages: but the proof is in the tasting - and there are samples which Alex and Caro are incredibly generous with. . Beautifully, yet simply furnished allows for a full focus on a vast range of cheese and accompaniments. Plenty of time to sit and contemplate over that extra wedge whilst having a delicious coffee - inside or out. We have been continually delighted by our visits to TOCSSA and behave like kids when we get our packages. Always a MUST in Saint Andrews - even if it is a 4 hour drive!
