It's a nice poncho but the first two times I used it in heavy rain the front pocket filled up with water. Luckily I wasn't using it to store anything precious. I asked the company about it directly and was told that they just consider that a minor issue. Be warned. I would not buy one of these again. No point having a pocket in wet weather gear if it is completely unusable. Someone is going to trash their mobile phone in it eventually.

Dishonest trader, claim to have items in stock, take your money then ignore all communication. I'm trying to get my bank to charge back the money. I'll be filing a complaint with trading standards today.

I bought one of these ponchos quite a few months ago but refrained from writing a review immediately in order to give it a proper test in all sorts of weather conditions. I really wanted to give a positive assessment of this product as the company has so much to commend it but the bottom line is that it simply is not waterproof. I have worn this in very rainy conditions whilst walking and cycling and, there's no getting away from it, the darned thing leaks! I do still use it but wear an additional waterproof jacket underneath in order to stay dry, which kind of defeats the object. Sorry, but that's the truth.

There Is no customer service...I bought a poncho on 11/09/2020 and I still don't have It. The shipping delay Is not 5-7 days like it's said in the website. When you write them, don't expect to get an answer.

We bought 3 ponchos for our family (2 adults, 1 child) as we do the school run by bicycle and need to be able to travel in all weather conditions. Having now tested them in various rainy conditions including this week's monsoon like stormy weather. They're brilliant and we highly recommend!! Fit is excellent with smart internal clip to hold close to body; the over-the-handlebar cut is just right; the material never leaks or allows moisture through, and dries very quickly (30 minutes). Must have for all-weather cyclists!

Absolutely love my poncho! Very well made, packs up snugly, and most importantly - keeps me dry! Highly recommend!

Smaller than I thought. Not much cover at the back when used over a rucksack. Perhaps better suited to cyclists.

As a an outdoor enthusiast I have heard nothing but praise for the People's Poncho. I ordered the Yellow Hi Viz a few days ago. It arrived on a Saturday morning and then I went on a weekends walking in Hertfordshire. I went on a walk the day after receiving it and put it on in a downpour. Sadly one of the poppers fell off. I was annoyed to say the least. Upon returning to London I emailed The People's Poncho. I had an immediate response from Adel who was very helpful and asked me to send a photo of the fault. I did so. Within a week I have brand new poncho with which I am delighted. On a 7 mile walk yesterday in Hertfordshire again in a downpour it was brilliant. The poncho was replaced without question and Adel was a real star of customer service. Do not hesitate to buy this great product. My initial encounter was just a one off fault. Thank you Adel.
