We source our saffron from ancient farms located in the North East of Iran, where the softly sloping terrain that directly faces the sun, is perfect for growing the delicate flowers painstakingly harvested. First class product in a first class packaging!! This saffron has a pungent and distinctive aroma and flavour. Just added a bit of this saffron in a little warm water and it released its beautiful golden colour!! Very happy with my purchase. I'm very surprised to see Anon ymous thinks the sickness caused by saffron and not the milk...

Beware. I bought 25g saffron from these guys and it made me physically sick and ill after mixing 10 strands with warm milk. Their response was "it seems you over dose your self on saffron!" They have refused my return request and no longer reply to my e-mails. Steer clear of these cowboys. Reported them to Edinburgh environmental health and trading standards.

This is the best saffron ever!! I think it looks great, they have obviously taken time over the pack design (which is unusual for saffron suppliers), it gives lots of information about where the saffron comes from and even gives tips and recipes to use with saffron. The product itself is second to none. I only have to use about half what I would normally use to get the same colour intensity making this great value. The smell is intense, if I am passing my larder I like to stick my head in to have a smell of it, it lingers in the nostrils and is just so pleasant. I have not used saffron better than this and I have used saffron from all over the world, this is the best. I only rave about something I find to be exceptional, so it is rare for me to ever write a review, this product deserves it.

This is top quality saffron. The flavour & colour are second to none. We often use this when cooking paella or risotto and only need a tiny pinch to take the intensity of the dish to the next level. Would highly recommend.
