Excellent pub. Superb quality and value in food and drink, with deals usually being offered around weekly. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and overall delightful if you have an inquiry, or need for something. Wait times are low, which is an added benefit and utter bewilderment with the quality of the delicious meals. Unfortunately, there isn’t wheelchair or disability access at the front, but round the back there should be accessibility available, to make entering the pub less uncomfortable or complicated. Car parking is relatively good, especially considering how busy it gets for a small establishment, with plenty of space and privacy if demanded or necessary. Facilities are constantly kept in order and are pleasant to enter, obviously cleaned daily. Overall, superb, would enter again.

Went for a walk from High Cross up the fosse way and through Frolesworth stopped here for carvery, was spot on Also had chocolate fudge cake for dessert which was delicious, would highly recommend.
Can't wait until this place opens properly again.
Had Homemade Steak & ale pie. It was lovely and a bargain for 7.50. A nice warm and welcoming good old fashioned country pub. I look forward to my next visit
Most delicious shepherd's pie I have ever eaten. Made with shredded lamb shoulder and topped with cheesy mash. I'd rate this higher than 5 stars if I could. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. I will be making a return visit very soon :-)
