Drank here many times, ate here occasionally. But our recent experience was second to none. If you have any allergies it is clearly marked on the menu what you can and can't have, in most cases the selection can be prepared, in our case gluten and dairy free. The whole dining experience was excellent. The food was very good quality and piping hot. The gap between courses was perfect and the waitresses kept check on our drinks situation. Overall, a very pleasurable dining experience. We shall most definitely be returning more often as we are local and within walking distance. Bravo!

Sunday lunch was rubbish my table time was 14:30 service was ok we had soup with cold stale french stick the soup was very sweet not to my taste. Main corse roast loin of Pork the Pork was tasty but cold roast potato’s so hard you couldn’t cut into them all the vegetables were stone cold everything Including the gravy was cold. We had a roast with them months ago same thing roast potato’s so hard you couldn’t cut into them we gave them a second chance but not again. We sometimes eat midweek the food is overpriced and average. The surging staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a nice place clean with nice surroundings but they can’t master an English roast.️️
Excellent. Welcoming & attentive staff. Nice ambiance with a good view of the river from any table. Great food. Desserts were delicious. Carrot and coriander soup was superb.
