Lovely setting, friendly staff and delicious food! Not the cheapest and the portions are quite small but this is more than made up for by the taste and quality! Very much recommended.....

I can understand why people would see this restaurant as overpriced and not worth the value. Basing my experience on the food alone I wouldn't say it is worth the asking price. 5 people with 3 courses and some alcohol came to over 400. However the food is nice and the flavours are subtle but there seems to be something missing for the asking price. As you can see by the photos the food is beautifully presented and the staff were very accommodating giving the circumstances with face masks and social distancing. Overall my experience was very good however I would like to see more value on my next visit. Thank you.
Delightful evening for six diners at the Salt Room. Delicious fish dishes and superb ambience. I had Cornish crab to start followed by halibut with cocktails and a lovely rose. Not cheap but value for money for an excellent fine dining experience. Perfect place for a special occasion as the staff make you feel really special.
Easy to book on opentable. Great from start to finish arriving they seated us. Kept social distances. Waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions as to what you might like. Food tasted fantastic. Ambiance was good considering the covid issues. Highly recommend the visit, price for the food was fair. Be aware that they put a 12% discretionary service charge on.
we sat 'outside' under a heater with the winter sun shining in, was a really lovely relaxed atmosphere, with amazing food and nice wine. The rib eye with cauliflower cheese was to die for ! cooked to perfection, one of the best steaks I've ever had. friendly knowledgeable staff. great place, will defiantly visit here again.
