I've been going to the Ship for years as a local and it still gets better every year. Despite eat out to help out, meaning the restaurant is busier and likely to cause delays, the service was still very efficient. The staff managed to maintain the calm and pleasant atmosphere the Ship has always held and were all friendly and attentive. The food was both affordable and enjoyable with a large range of choices to choose from. Social distancing and track and trace were successfully implemented meaning as a customer I felt safe at all times and would thus definitely recommend if this is a concern for you or any of the members of your party. I could not fault the pub itself or the experience it gave.

I ate at this lovely family pub with my family (6 of us) last week. The food was delicious and service was prompt. The staff were not only very friendly but so helpful. My brother has severe food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to put him at ease to ensure what he ate was safe. Lovely atmosphere, good food and great staff we will definitely be eating here again.
First time trying this village pub and we are glad we tried. Some of the best burgers and curry in the area. Will try again.
