Spot on. One of the best steaks I've ever had and cooked perfectly to how I like it. The peppercorn sauce was lovely. My son's meal was really good too and he finished it off which doesn't often happen with such a large portion of food. Can't wait to come back.

Went with husband and 3 teens & couldn't fault a thing. Lovely friendly pub with great atmosphere & great food at a reasonable price. All staff were really welcoming and friendly. Food was freshly homemade. It meant waiting a bit longer but it was certainly worth the wait. Plenty of room for social distancing inside and out. In a perfect location at the canalside with a good sized beer garden. Went for a little walk along the canal path after eating to walk it off. Highly recommended!!
Located next to the canal, its a popular stop for narrow boats. It serves a good range of traditional beers and spirits, and a wide menu choice. Currently set up for social distancing, there's indòor and outdoor seating available . Its also the base for a canal boat cruise, although that's a separate business.
Light and spacious inside and out. Good range of drink. Good food. Lovely to sit and watch the boats go by and the swing bridge.
Just had the fish and chips today must say beat fish and chips I have ever had! Chips home made to perfection and the fish was delicious. Perfect portion and delicious in taste highly recommend
